Latest UN Report Shows Major Drop In Rate Of HIV Infections In India

India saw a major reduction in the number of new HIV infections, AIDS-related deaths and people living with HIV from 2010 to 2017 on the back of sustained and focussed efforts, according to a UN report which warned that the epidemic was growing in Pakistan.

Assam Records 928 New HIV Cases

New Bill Proposes Jail Term For Discriminating Against HIV Patients

The cabinet on Wednesday approved important amendments to the HIV and AIDS Bill, 2014 in meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The bill provides legal accountability and a formal mechanism to probe complaints of discrimination against patients and also makes anti-retroviral treatment a legal right of patients.
