Filmmakers Farhan Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Aditi Rao Hydari were among the prominent faces from the Hindi film industry to join the public protesting against the Citizenship Act at Mumbai's August Kranti Maidan on Thursday.

Recently, the Censor Board was criticised for cutting short kissing scenes between actor Daniel Craig and his leading ladies in the 24th James Bond film SPECTRE. Thus, to avoid any issues, the scenes were cut from Wazir by the filmmakers themselves

"The emotional thrust of this film is the most effective thing and that is something which will remain with you. It depicts the love story of two friends, and that is something you'll remember about this film once you watch it," said Farhan Akhtar.
