Segment-wise, commercial vehicles sales during the period under review fell by 15 per cent to 34,082 units from 40,015 units. Similarly, passenger vehicles' sales declined by 10 per cent last month to 12,785 units from 14,260 units which were shipped-out during the like period of last year.

The total domestic sales (domestic sales + OEM) grew by 3.5 per cent at 1.25 lakh units against 1.21 lakh units in December 2018 while exports grew by 10.2 per cent at 7,561 units in December 2019 as against 6,859 units in the same month of previous year.

"For wireless to wireless domestic calls, termination charge would continue to remain as Re 0.06 (paise six only) per minute up to 31st December 2020. From 1st January, 2021 onwards the termination charge for wireless to wireless domestic calls shall be zero," Trai said in its regulation.
