NDA Government Lost the Trust of People, Alleges TMC Leader GK Vasan

Coimbatore: The NDA government at the Centre has lost the trust of the people, which has reflected in the defeat in Bihar elections, Tamil Maanila Congress president GK Vasan said today.

The government was saying one thing and doing another thing, due to which the people have totally lost confidence in the Government, Mr Vasan told reporters in Coimbatore.

On the rains, Mr Vasan said that considering the forecast of heavy rains for the coming four days, the Government should take necessary precautionary measures.

Moreover, relief measures should be taken on war footing in the four districts of Chennai, Cuddalore, Thiruvallur and Kancheepuram, which bore the brunt of rains, he said.
