Rajahmundry:
Five people were were killed and three seriously injured on Thursday in a collision between an autorickshaw and a lorry in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, police said.
The accident occurred at Korangi area under Tallarevu mandal when the autorickshaw carrying eight passengers rammed into the lorry head-on resulting in death of five persons, they said.
Police said that the injured have been admitted in a nearby government general hospital.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
