A video of a lifeguard saving a drowning child in a wave pool is going viral all over the Internet. Posted on June 16, the video has been watched 8.2 million times on YouTube.
The footage shows hundreds of people in blue tubes floating in a wave pool. A few seconds into the video, a lifeguard can be seen jumping and swimming towards the middle of the pool. It's only then that you realise the guard had actually spotted a little kid drowning in the water.
At first glance, it's almost impossible to notice anything's wrong in the pool. You'll need to watch the video a couple of times to notice the kid adjusting on his tube, losing balance and tumbling into the water head first.
Nobody around noticed. Thankfully, the lifeguard was doing her job.
