This is probably why movies such as The Hangover series have had such a huge effect on audiences across the globe.
However, have you ever heard of someone so drunk that they replied to their own text? And then becoming an internet sensation for it?
Meet 19-year-old Marcus Gray who did exactly that. Here's a look at the picture he tweeted right after he noticed his silly mistake.
The hilarious post not surprisingly has made the British teen an instant hit on the internet. The picture itself has over 16,000 re-tweets and been favourited over 28,000 times.
