Jimmy Fallon recently discovered Gurmeet Ram Rahim's music and instantly wished he hadn't. You may or may not be aware that the talk show host runs a segment titled 'Do Not Play' on his late-night gig
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. If you didn't know before, you do now because Ram Rahim has made it to what is essentially a musical hall of shame, the opposite of a playlist.
Fallon's 'Do Not Play' segment usually lists actual songs and albums one should avoid hearing at all costs. The Dera Sacha Sauda sect chief's song
Love Charger is the first one mentioned by Fallon in his special segment.
Whoopsie. Could this be Fallon's revenge for being out-eaten by Priyanka Chopra in the chicken wing competition when she was on his show some weeks ago? Unlikely - he probably really doesn't like Ram Rahim's music.
We're not sure what Gurmeet Ram Rahim makes of this global infamy but chances are, he will be as little bothered as he was by the scathing reviews of the two films -
MSG: The Messenger and its sequel, starring and written, directed and produced by him - that he released last year.
For those of you haven't heard Love Charger before, watch the video below to understand why it made it to Jimmy Fallon's list. The other spots are occupied by a song called
IM DA BES by GMCFOSHO,
On the Map by TheSenseiBlue, and
Fast Food Song by Fast Food Rockers. Go figure.
