Life lessons from Bollywood, taught by Madhuri Dixit

Life lessons from Bollywood, taught by Madhuri Dixit
Yes, yes, the Oscars were great. But while Hollywood can brew up an epic mix of celeb-selfies, photobombs and pizza-chomping stars, Bollywood has a song for every situation and it's hard to beat that at an everyday level. We're serious.

If you're a crazy fan of all things Bollywood, we're pretty sure you've had your fair share of discussions on what makes Hindi movies tick for you. How you love the myriad colours, the music (available for every occasion and emotion), the locations (Swiss Alps, mustard fields, the works), the costumes (all 50 changes in 3 minutes), the compelling emotions and the high octane drama.

A similar tussle is going on with this NRI Indian family. The aggressively Punjabi mother tries to sell Bollywood's awesomeness to her not-so-desi daughter and tells her there's lots she can learn from Hindi movies.

Not true, says the daughter - the only way she's learning anything from Bollywood is when Madhuri Dixit herself comes over and teaches her something.

That's called tempting fate and fate was listening. No sooner are these words spoken than in walks the dhak dhak girl herself. Watch her teach you how to get over a break up, get a guy's number, win a game of hide and seek and even beat Flappy Bird.

Tell us what you've learnt from Bollywood in the comments section.

Here we go: Ek, do, teen...
