The first day of school (or college or office) is always one of mixed emotions. There's nervousness and excitement all at the same time, which is enough to overwhelm anyone, certainly a four-year-old starting pre-kindergarten.

So it should come as no surprise that adorable Andrew Macias eventually succumbed when asked if he would miss his mom on his first day at elementary school and burst into flood of tears. A rather mean question to put to a four-year-old, wouldn't you say?

Little Los Angeles resident Andrew seemed quite upbeat while answering the first few questions the TV reporter asked him. "Andrew, are you excited for pre-kindergarten?" the TV reporter asks.
"Yes," comes his prompt and happy reply. When asked why, he again answers cheerfully but with slight confusion, "I don't know."

And then she asks him the mean question about missing mom. The poor thing tries to giggle by acting brave but realizes within seconds that he will actually miss mom and begins to cry. Aaawwww...

Hope you're happy now, Ms Reporter.
