The online searches for 'yoga holidays' have risen by 376% in the last 12 months and the hashtag #yogatrip being used 127K times on Instagram, making it a new category of vacations entirely. The experts at Planet Cruise have put together their findings for the top yoga hot spots from around the world. Bali, Indonesia takes the top spot with 667M Instagram. It is followed by Kerala, India, and Morocco, North Africa.

Travel experts at Planet Cruise have compiled the top 10 most instagrammable yoga destinations from around the world, based on the number of Instagram hashtags. They listed various popular yoga locations around the world from numerous sources then looked at Instagram to uncover the total number of hashtags as of January 2023 to then reveal the top 10 yoga destinations. A spokesperson from Planet Cruise said, "If you have a keen interest in yoga and finding your inner zen then one of these destinations may be for you. It's important to unwind and unplug when on holiday and any of these locations would be perfect to do so."
According to their research, the most Instagram-worthy yoga locations as of January 2023 are:

Kerala, India - 59,700,000 Instagram posts
Morocco, North Africa - 22,000,000 Instagram posts
Ibiza, Spain - 18,800,000 Instagram posts
Lisbon, Portugal - 11,000,000 Instagram posts
Cornwall, England - 9,000,000 Instagram posts
