For anyone who claims to be a beach person, Fiji is sure to list among your dream travel destinations in the world. The group of islands in South Pacific Ocean makes for the perfect getaway where you can spend time in picture perfect beaches with gorgeous blue water and white sand. So with summer at its peak, it only makes sense to jetset to Fiji and have the time of your life like Bollywood actress Ileana D'Cruz is having at the moment. Ileana's Instagram account is filled with stunning pictures of her vacation in Fiji and we really can't help but drool over them.
While in Fiji, you can't miss exploring the spectacular marine life by signing up for snorkeling or scuba diving. Ileana does so too and attempts to find "Nemo's Fijian cousins" from over 1,200 species of fish.

For a taste of the local culture, Ileana experiences the traditional Fijian kava ceremony, which "is a beautiful blend of tradition, culture, and happiness. It's definitely something you don't want to miss!" Much like Chinese or Japanese tea drinking rituals, the kava ceremony follows a ceremonial atmosphere. Kava is a mildly narcotic drink made from the powdered root of the pepper plant, which results in a numb sensation in the mouth. Not only is it said to have medicinal properties but also works wonders to bring about a feeling of relaxation.

Apart from gorgeous beaches, there are many natural parks in Fiji that will give you reasons to soak up as much green as possible, such as Colo-i-Suva (pronounced tholo-ee-soo-va), which is an oasis of lush rainforest with tropical plants. Ileana makes sure to explore Fiji's green cover too, claiming that "even great big green Fijian leaves make me happy".
Fiji is also the place where you can switch off and find some inner peace by staying at a beautiful resort and pampering yourself. Ileana finds her zen in Namale Resort & Spa where she enjoys her time, from doing yoga by the pool to having scrumptious food.
She even finds a peaceful corner by a waterfall to enjoy the beauty around.
A popular place to visit in Fiji is Vanua Levu Island, where you can get your hands on beautiful pearls that are harvested in Savusavu. Ileana does so and rightly captions it as "What's a girl's best friend? Pearls!"
There's nothing quite like soaking in the sun with the wind in your hair, and Ileana makes the most of it at Fiji by going island hopping and being "happiest by the sea". She even packs in a private island vacation at the famous Turtle Island, an exclusive resort, as seen in her Instagram post.
