GQ's annual awards show may herald the best dressed B-towners, artists and celebrities but it isn't only their designer duds that matter. Meticulous makeup and incredible hairstyles also make their mark at glitzy events and this one was no different. Bollywood's starriest showed up in style and sported fantastic hairstyles at the awards show of which, these 7 top our list.
1. Deepika Padukone
After far too many appearances with the same ol' slicked back hair, Deepika Padukone surprised us with a brand new 'do. With an edgy mix of textures all in black, Deepika wore her hair in a tightly pulled back braid worn at the top of the crown without a single hair out of place. Tres chic!
2. Waluscha De Sousa
While her shimmery cutout Gavin Miguel gown was busy stealing the show, Waluscha De Sousa complemented it with a high ballerina bun. Neat with the elegance of a few strands on the sides, her hairstyle added a feminine touch to her ensemble and kept all eyes on the back.
3. Richa Chadha
Standing apart from the slick backed crowd was Richa Chadha in old school Hollywood waves with a neat side part. While her outfit didn't do her any favours, her delightfully vintage waves certainly did.
4. Saiyami Kher
Another fantastic bun hairstyle at the show belonged to Saiyami Kher, who wore hers low with a side parting. Sophisticated and sleek, it was the right choice to go with her netted black number and smokey eyes.
5. Malavika Mohanan
It was also a good night for braids as Malavika Mohanan went for a rocker chic variation of the hairstyle. She paired her glittery mini with a low rope-styled braid with metallic hair chain running through it.
6. Elli Avram
Also in a sultry cutout gown was Elli Avram who chose a different strategy with her hair. She wore her locks long and flowing with side-swept curls that gave the look a soft touch.
