The sweltering season of summer is often met with a hair transformation. Since the Coronavirus quarantine took up most of the season and salons are now re-opening, it looks like tress makeovers and brand new styles are going to get pushed forward. Leading the way is none other than Lara Dutta. The Bollywood personality and beauty entrepreneur welcomed the ease in lockdown restrictions by heading for a salon appointment to chop off her lockdown mane. We may only have the last few weeks of summer sunshine left but that's good enough to let go of the growing quarantine scruff and replace it with trimmed ends and cropped cuts.
Here's a look at Lara's fresh new 'do.
Celebrity hairstylish Clarabelle Saldanha, who also handles locks of Deepika Padukone and Sushmita Sen, is responsible for Lara's hair look. A close-up showcases her lengths cropped at the chin with a wispy fringe swept to the side.
It reminded us of one of Lara's hairstyles from the archive. She sported a clean cropped short bob with a hair band and posted it as a birthday wish for husband Mahesh Bhupathi.
Another one from the photo album is dated to Valentine's Day earlier this year with Lara in a long bob hairstyle with a thick fringe and Mahesh beaming by her side.

And since we're going down memory lane, we had to revisit her Miss Universe looks from 2000. Wearing slinky dresses and cocktail gowns, her hair was pulled up in a curly updo.
The time Lara Dutta, Dia Mirza and Priyanka Chopra stood shoulder-to-shoulder for a iconic photo as international pageant winners is definitely going down in the history books.
Back in the present, Lara's silky long bob updated with caramel highlights is what we're bookmarking for our next salon visit.
Whatever be your hair length, you can style it the way you want. These hair products will add volume, hydration and a chic touch to it.
