For Indian travellers especially, some countries can be more difficult to travel to, as far as visas are concerned. The United States has a notably rigorous visa process and long waiting time for a tourist. The Schengen area isn't far behind. A Schengen visa allows for entry to a group of 27 countries in Europe and as you'd expect for access to such a wide range of some of the world's most beautiful countries, the paperwork itself is harder than you think. A Twitter user took to the platform to say that "The amount of paperwork for a Schengen visa is insane!". For her trip to Norway, she listed why the process really should be much easier.

In the thread, she continues about how grueling the process for the Schengen visa is. It was made worse with ridiculous prices for photocopying and her time slot getting delayed by many hours. Comments on her tweet mainly related with the struggle of incredibly time-consuming processes and paperwork to obtain a visa. Even within the Schengen area, some countries are less restrictive than others. Unless there's a systemic change, it's just one more person who now knows that before the joy of travelling abroad comes the loads of paperwork to make it possible.
