The six-member inquiry committee, headed by the additional deputy commissioner, has found that records of the recruitment process has been tampered with in National Health Mission (NHM) section by inserting new answer-sheets and other serious irregularities, the spokesperson said. The panel has also asked the police to register cases against erring officials, he said.
The recruitment process carried out in January came under scanner after some NHM officials circulated a fake list of selectees, the spokesperson said.
The NHM staff associated with the recruitment process have been barred from dealing with any recruitment and selection process, and administrative works, he said.
