New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the official organisor of the UGC NET exam, has released answer key for the November 2017 examination. Candidates who had appeared for the examination on 5 November 2017 can check the scanned images of OMR answer sheets along with the recorded responses and answer sheets on the official website cbsenet.nic.in. Candidates can also object to the recorded responses from 12 December 2017 till 18 December 2017. According to CBSE, approximately 4,09,439 male and 519557 female candidates along with 3 transgenders registered for the exam. "More than 75% candidates appeared in the exam," a release from CBSE said.

'The challenge of scanned images of OMR answer sheets & answer key will be accepted online only, through the link available on the website cbsenet.nic.in from 12/12/2017 to 18/12/2017(11:59 PM). The challenges submitted by post or in person will not be accepted,' the official notification reads.

Step 1: Go to the official website of CBSE NET at cbsenet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the relevant link
Step 3: Enter the details asked
Step 4: Get the answer key
Step 5: In order to raise objections, candidates shall have to deposit Rs 1000 as fee per question

While submitting the objections candidates shall have to deposit of Rs 1000 per question through credit or debit card. If the challenge submitted by the candidate is accepted by the Board, a policy decision will be notified on the website and the fee shall be refunded. The refund (if any) will be transferred online to the concerned credit/debit card account so, the candidates are advised to pay from their own credit/debit card.

To ensure fair conduct of examination proper frisking of the candidates was done at main entry gate of every exam center. The official told NDTV that board simplified the frisking this time after complaints reported during NEET exam. The candidates were asked to report at the examination center 2 hrs 30 minutes prior to commencement of examination and cooperate with the invigilators in frisking.
