Pune blast death toll now rises to 10
Mumbai: The Pune blast toll has now risen to 10 with Akhilesh Kumar of Lucknow succumbing to his injuries on Tuesday.

Here is the list of those killed in the blast at German Bakery in Pune as declared by the Maharashtra Police:

  • Saeed Abdul Ghani, Iranian, 26, Male, student in Symbiosis Pune
  • Nadia Macdrini, Italian, 37, Female

When asked about the ongoing probe, Shukla said the police haven't found any lead, adding that physical evidence is being collected by the police.

"On February 13, 2010, an explosion occurred at the German bakery on the north main road at 6:52 pm on Saturday. An unclaimed bag was found under the table. The waiter was asked to remove it, but before he could do that, an explosion took place," she said.

Shukla also said: "Only one bomb exploded in German Bakery. The intelligence report was received for Chabad House as Union Home Secretary said, and the area was sensitised."

"The forensic laboratory has just started the investigation, we are waiting for the report regarding material used in explosion. The moment we get the report we will give you the details about the blast," Shukla said.
