New Delhi:

External Affairs Minister SM Krishna has told NDTV that a meaningful dialogue with Pakistan is not possible until they take action against Jamaat-ud-dawa chief Hafiz Saeed.

Speaking to Prannoy Roy Krishna said that while Saeed roams free in Pakistan, it makes it more difficult to pursue the dialogue process.

Pakistan is not obliged to arrest or extradite the Lashkar founder, but he can be arrested if he travels outside Pakistan after the Red Corner Notice (RCN) issued against him by the Interpol, which is an international one.

However, a similar notice against Dawood Ibrahim has not yielded any thing in the past.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Interior Minister has said that Islamabad wants a dossier from India on the Samjhauta train blast, which he said was as important to them as Mumbai is to India.

"We had asked fro a dossier on Samjhouta express blast. India asks for dossier from us on daily basis but when we ask for it you ignore it saying that it not related. Of course it is related. Pakistani people were killed in that blast, their blood was also red like that of our Indian brothers. So if we have to wage a fight against the terrorists then there shouldn't be any discrimination. So the dossier on Samjhouta Express blast which we asked for is equally important as it is for them," Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik said.

For now, all eyes are on when the Indian and Pakistani Foreign Secretaries will meet next since the Foreign Ministers are supposed to meet in New York next month.
