A schoolgirl in Odisha was stripped naked and then filmed by three men in her classroom, according to local media. A teacher, who tried to rescue her, was warned not to intervene by the men who said they had a knife and would use it on the girl and the teacher, according to a
news website.
The video of the school girl, filmed on November 7 in Malkangiri, was circulated on social media.
Of the three suspects, two are students in the same school and were briefly detained by the police.
"When the teacher refused to strip me, they themselves did the act and did a photo-shoot in turns by touching my private parts," the underage victim was reported as saying by news agency ANI.
A special police team has been formed to investigate the case.
The shocking incident was followed yesterday by a woman student being forced to strip in a public park in the state capital of Odisha while a group of three men filmed her; the video was allegedly shared on social media. The woman was with her boyfriend when they were
accosted.
A police case has yet to be filed, said local news websites, some of which claimed that the suspects are the woman's classmates in a top private engineering college in Bhubaneshewar.
