NDTV Correspondent: There's more trouble for Justice P D Dinakaran, the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court.
The Forum for Judicial Accountability, an NGO, has written to the Chief Justice of India and four other senior judges demanding a probe into the allegations against Justice Dinakaran.
The forum has accused Justice Dinakaran of land grabbing, an allegation which he has denied.
In a new letter to the Supreme Court Collegium, the forum has alleged that family members of Justice Dinakaran acquired properties in violation of rules. It is learnt that the Supreme Court Collegium has asked the district authorities in Tamil Nadu to verify the allegations.
