"Today Amitabhji has spoken on the issue of intolerance. Everyone has spoken on this. Unity in diversity, irrespective of caste, creed and religion, is our strength.

Mr Bachchan, while inaugurating the film festival, today recalled the contribution of Indian cinema in fostering social unity, communal amity and love at a time when "cultures are being questioned and prejudices against communities are dividing the world".
