Lokayukta orders probe against UP minister in assets case

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta on Tuesday ordered a probe against Naseemuddin Siddiqui, a minister in the Mayawati government, in connection with a disproportionate assets case.

The Lokyaukta, the state ombudsman looking into charges of graft against government servants, said that there was prime facie evidence against the minister.
