Highlights: We have done the best for the common man, says Rahul Gandhi at Congress rally

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi listed the Congress-led UPA's achievements at his party's mega rally at the capital's Ramlila Maidan today. Here are the highlights of Mr Gandhi's speech:

• In 2004, we had promised that the voice of the common man would be heard in Delhi.
• We have done the best for the betterment of common man.
• If there is anything we are working against corruption. We were the ones who introduced RTI
• We have implemented the programme for employment of millions of Indians
• We are going to introduce a bill in Parliament, which will help farmers.
• We introduced Lokpal bill in Parliament, but the opposition failed it
• We will pass Lokpal Bill; just wait and watch
  
• We have changed the face of Delhi
• There is infrastructure is developed
• PM will speak on economic issues. He will explain it to you
• The problem with politics is that the voice of the common man is not heard
• The people who run the system are busy mud-slinging at each other
  
• We have to open our doors - to the common man, to the youth
• Who brought computers - Congress did
• Who brought liberalisation - Congress did
• Who will bring change - Congress will
• We will bring the voice of the youth and the poor in the Congress
• Whatever we say, the BJP will stand up and say its wrong
• The BJP says - if you bring FDI, your shops will close - Lie!
• Their job is to protest - no matter what - they will protest
• We are here for the poor and the backward
