Shivpuri: In a shocking incident in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district, a Dalit man was set on fire allegedly over a loan dispute.

Fifty-six-year-old Naryan Singh Khangaar, a farmer, is battling for his life with nearly 60 per cent burns. Khangaar was allegedly burnt by a moneylender who was trying to grab his land which he had mortgaged.

Khangaar had repaid his loan and was demanding his land back which angered the money lender.

The four accused -- Usha Dhakad, Lalaram Dhakad, Sultan Dhakad and Bhura Dhakad poured kerosene on Khangar after they found him working on an agricultural field, which they had acquired unlawfully in lieu of a loan amount, police said.
