It is very rare to "lose" sight from Lasik surgery, the usual cause being infection or a severe complication during the procedure. The cause of the vision loss has not been mentioned in the query. If a corneal infection develops in the eye following Lasik, once it has been controlled, a corneal transplant surgery will restore sight to this eye. Other extremely rare causes include central retinal artery occlusion, where the blood flow to the retina gets damaged. This is an irreversible process.
