Are there any ear plugs available to block loud noises?
Question
I am terrified of crackers and the sudden loud noises. Festive season and especially Diwali is sheer torture as I am usually a nervous wreck around that time. Are any kind of ear plugs available to block out sound completely? If yes, where can I obtain them?

Ear plugs are available at leading chemist shops but are mostly to block the ear from getting water inside. You can ask them to get you ear plugs specially made for sound proofing or use simple ear muffs. Even a small cotton roll will prevent a lot of sound from coming into the ear.
