Kareena Kapoor dropped not one but two posts on this occasion on Instagram Stories. In the first one, she shared a quote that read, “Every day is Women's Day. Pride. Love. Equality. Respect.” In the second Instagram Stories, Kareena shared a collage of herself, her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore and her sisters-in-law Soha Ali Khan and Saba Pataudi. She captioned the images “To my women and me. Proud to be a woman.”
Here's what Kareena Kapoor shared on her second Instagram Stories:
Actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen also warmed our hearts with an adorable Women's Day post. She shared a photo of herself and wrote, “Pathmaker, pathbreaker, whatever be the journey, it's beautiful to be a woman.” She added, “To thrive in a world full of judgments can never be easy. And then, to teach it mercy...ah! It's a blessing to be a woman. Happy Women's Day.”
She added "sisterhood", "love", "joy", "grace", "strength” and "blessings" as the hashtags. Her daughter Renee Sen reacted to her post and commented, "The most amazing woman I know, is you. PS: Such a gorgeous picture."
Shilpa Shetty also dropped an inspiring post to mark the day. She quoted Melinda Gates: “A woman with a voice is, by definition, a strong woman” and added, "For generations, women have been subjected to, revolted against, and endured all kinds of injustice. They are often touted to be the 'weaker sex'; apart from constantly being scrutinised for being 'who' they are. But, when they work their way up and take centrestage, they're unstoppable." She continued, "Together, let's vow to #BreakTheBias to help our future generations grow in an equal and just world... A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. One that is diverse, fair, and inclusive; where difference is valued and celebrated everywhere; be it at our workplaces or within our schools, colleges, and communities. Let's evolve! Most importantly, always remember to celebrate yourself every day."
Karisma Kapoor shared a special note for International Women's Day. She showed up in all smiles and wrote, "What better way to celebrate women's day. At the job, doing what you love. To all the strong women out there, keep shining, keep growing. Happy Women's Day."
Kiara Advani kept the wish for her fans simple yet sweet.
