Vivek Oberoi manages to shoot a simple sequence after 30 takes

Highlights

  • Vivek Oberoi had a tough time shooting for a simple sequence which required him to get up from a charpai after hearing an alarm. The actor, who was shooting for a gangster film, Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story, with Neha Sharma, not only had to give 30 retakes but also spent nearly two hours to do it. In between the shoot he then chose to take a power nap!
  • Producer Kumar Taurani says, “We do not know why he could not give the exact expressions. May be he was tired.”
  • Taurani adds, “He was not comfortable with the bed. However when he was taking a nap, we decided to do the take without informing him. The shot immediately got an okay.”
  • Vivek saw the final take and was very surprised as well as happy that finally he managed to finish the shoot for the day.
  • Apparently the actor was shooting for three films simultaneously and was tired.
