Shanaya Kapoor is yet to make her Bollywood debut but has already managed to earn herself a large social media following. On Instagram and other social media apps, Shanaya keeps her followers updated on all that she is up to. On Friday, Shanaya Kapoor shared a picture of her family sitting down for a puja at home. In the image, Shanaya is seen with her father, actor Sanjay Kapoor and mom, Maheep Kapoor in front of the sacred fire. While the family is dressed in their traditional best, we also spotted a spiral-bound book placed for puja. We can't help but wonder if it is the script for an upcoming project.
Sharing the image, Shanaya Kapoor only dropped heart emojis and a folded palm emoticon in the caption. Mom Maheep replied to the post with heart emojis.
Shanaya's father Sanjay Kapoor shared the same image and wrote, “Mahamrutyunjaya Homa and Drustihoma Pooja. #blessing. Missed you Jahaan,” referring to his son, Jahaan Kapoor.
Maheep Kapoor also shared a similar picture. In her caption, Maheep used hashtags such as “gratitude” and “family that prays together stays together”. Replying to the post, Malaika Arora dropped folded palm emojis. Bhavana Pandey and Neelam Soni Kothari, who are both seen with Maheep in Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, also replied with heart emojis.
Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her debut with the Dharma Productions film Bedhadak. She will be seen alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Singh Pirzada in the film. Sharing a picture with director Shashank Khaitan and her co-stars Shanaya Kapoor said, “Favourites,” with heart emoji.
Previously, Shanaya Kapoor worked as an assistant director in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. The film features her cousin Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role. Shanaya was also seen in a cameo appearance in the Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
