I was really down in the dumps: Parineeti
Parineeti says her brother Sahaj took her out of that phase
Parineeti will be next seen in Golmaal Again
Parineeti Chopra took a sabbatical in 2014 after starring in three back-to-back flops - Hasee Toh Phasee, Daawat-e-Ishq and Kill Dil. She took a year off to work on herself and returned with a bang on the big screen in a special song with Varun Dhawan in Dishoom. Parineeti's first film in two years, Meri Pyaari Bindu, released in the first half of 2017 and received mixed response. Her next film is the Rohit Shetty-directed Golmaal Again.
"I think every human being who considers themselves to be emotionally evolved, always have this one very big event or one person who comes into their lives and completely changes the way they think. And I can say very confidently that happened in my life," Parineeti said. Of Sahaj's contribution in pulling her out of the phase, Parineeti told IANS: "He is the guy who knows me, he knows my pulse, he understands me, he understands the grain that I am made of. So, speaking to him, being with him every day really used to give me that confidence in myself and really took me out of that phase."
Parineeti is actress Priyanka Chopra's cousin. Parineeti has two younger Brothers - Sahaj and Shivang.
