Mumbai: Director Neeraj Ghaywan and lyricist Varun Grover, who received their National Awards on May 3, said that they will donate the prize money for relief work for distressed farmers in Maharashtra.
Mr Ghaywan received the National Award for his first directed-movie Masaan and the award for the best lyrics has been conferred to Mr Grover for the song Moh Moh Ke Dhaage from the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
The director shared that the duo will together donate an amount of Rs 1 lakh.
On Wednesday, Mr Ghaywan wrote on his official Facebook account:
