Hip-hop star Ne-Yo, known forsongs like Give me everything, has named his five-month-oldson Mason Evan and said he thoughtfully selected the name forhis second child.
In addition to Mason, Ne-Yo and girlfriend Monyetta Shaware also parents to daughter Madilyn Grace, who is 16 monthsold, reported People magazine.
"We needed him (Mason) to have a name that felt like agentleman, like somebody you have to respect, Mason EvanSmith, you have to respect that name. I am not going to be that dude that predestines mychildren's future, I am just going to do my best so that mydaughter doesn't end up on a pole and my son doesn't end up onthe corner. And whatever they do outside of that is prettymuch their decision," he said.
The singer also said that it is difficult to workfull-time with two kids at home.
"I missed Madilyn's first words, I got to say the bestthing about having two kids is just having two kids," headded.
