Hashmi believes that the only thing that has changed is that he is now called a 'hit' actor.

  • Although the actor has done movies spread across various genres from romance to crime thrillers Emraan calls horror his favourite space.
  • "This (horror) is one of my favorite genres. Whenever I have done this genre, it has worked. This (Raaz 3) film has pushed the envelope," he said.
  • Released on September 3, Raaz 3 directed by Vikram Bhatt had Emraan, Bipasha Basu and newbie Esha Gupta in the lead. The 3D film did good business at the box office.
  • "The best thing about the Raaz 3 DVD is you can watch it in 3D, 2D on a standard screen," Emraan said.
  • Raaz 3 a horror thriller film is a sequel to Raaz - The Mystery Continues, which itself was a sequel to Raaz.
  • The third installment in the Raaz series revolved around the downfall of an actress and how she turns to black magic to secure her position in the industry.
  • "Every film in the franchise is a hit. Raaz 3 was Vikram's vision and I am happy that the film has done so well. This is not only the largest horror franchise; it is one of the few horror films that have reached this level at the box office," producer Mahesh Bhatt said.
  • There have been reports that Raaz 4 is coming soon and when asked about the same, Bhatt said, "Once we are ready with a good script then we will decide whether to make or not."
