Jackie Chan's Son Apologises for His Involvement in Drug Abuse Case

Jaycee Chan was arrested for using drugs and accomodating drug users

According to Chinese law, those involved in providing locations for others to take drugs can face a sentence of up to three years in prison. The crime of transporting, manufacturing or trafficking drugs can be the death penalty.

Since January, more than 7,800 people have been detained for taking drugs in Beijing, an increase of about 72 per cent year-on-year, Police said.
