  • Ash will reportedly opt for Indian wear, because she feels India has so much to offer in terms of exquisite handcrafted textiles. Unconfirmed reports have a pastel wardrobe lined up for her, including an an off-white chikankari sari, fluid kurtas and one in the anarkali style. On her arrival in Cannes on May 23, she will have a wardrobe session with New York-based designer Michael Angel and return to India on May 26. Michael Angel has already had one hit at Cannes with Frieda Pinto who took red carpet honours in his pale pink gown with a beaded bodice.
  • Abhishek Bachchan will not be accompanying Ash and five-month old daughter Aaradhya to Cannes since he is busy dubbing for his next project.
  • After Cannes, Ash will jet-set off to Monaco for the 17th Bal de l'Ete, scheduled from June 22 through June 24.
