The 17th Lok Sabha Election 2019 in Munger constituency of Bihar was held in the fourth phase on April 29, 2019.

Munger constituency is one of the 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar. In 2014, LJP's Veena Devi was the winner for the 2014 General Election. She received 3,52,911 votes. The runner up for the 2014 election was JDU candidate Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, who received 2,43,827 votes. The JDU candidate was defeated by 1,09,084 votes and the polling percentage was 53.17%.

In 2009, the winner for the 15th Lok Sabha election was JDU candidate Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh who defeated the RJD candidate Ram Badam Roy. The winner and the runner up received 3,74,317 votes and 1,84,956 votes respectively. The margin between the candidates was 1,89,361 votes.

In 1971, Deonandan Prasad Yadav from INC won the elections. In 1977, Shri Krishna Singh from BLD won the election from Munger constituency. In 1980 and 1984 Devendra Prasad Yadav, candidate from INC won. In 1989 Dhanraj Singh from Janata Dal won the elections. In 1991, Brahmanand Mandal from CPI was the candidate who won the elections. In 1996, Brahmnand Mandal from SAP won. In 1998, Vijay Kumar Vijay from RJD won the election from Munger constituency. In 1999, Brahmanand Mandal from JD(U) was the winner. In 2004, RJD's Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav was the winner in the Munger constituency.

In 2019 General Election, Kumar Navneet Himanshu from BSP, Nilam Devi from INC and Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh from JD (United) are contesting for 2019 Elections.
