TN +2 Result 2020: Tamil Nadu Board has announced class 12 or Plus Two results. The result comes as a surprise as the board had not made any announcement about the board exam results. The TN +2 result will shortly be available on the board's official result website. Tamil Nadu Class 12 or Plus Two results will be released online at tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in, the official portals of TN DGE which hosts the public examination results.

Girls have maintained a pass percentage over 90% in practically all Tamil Nadu districts in the TN 12the results. The slipped into the 80's only at Cuddalore where 89.92% girls passed. The girls' pass percentage was highest at Tiruppur - 98.04%. Boys had a pass percentage between 80% and 90% in 14 districts. At Karaikkal, the pass percentage for boys is 79.41%

Tamil Nadu Education Minister K.A Sengottaiyan has said that details on obtaining marksheets and application for revision of marks will be released later. He wrote: "Candidates will be notified later of the date of receipt of their mark sheet downloaded from the website and a copy of the answer sheet, the date of application for mark revision and its instructions."

Girls have recorded 100% pass percentage in Microbiology and Communicative English while boys have not recorded 100% pass percentage in any subject.
Girls have scored the highest pass percentage in Tiruppur district with 98.04%. Boys have also recorded the highest pass percentage in the same district with 95.98%.
This year girls have recorded a higher pass percentage in every single stream. In Science stream, girls have recorded 95.18% compared to boys' percentage of 91.74%. In Commerce stream, girls recorded 95.44% to 89.94% by boys. In Arts stream, girls recorded 95.44% to boys' 89.94%.
This year's pass percentage of 92.3% is the highest recorded pass percentage in the last five years.
The pass percentage in the Class 12, or plus-two, Tamil Nadu Board exams is highest for science students - 93.64%. Commerce students are next with a pass percentage of 92.96%.

The Tamil Nadu +2 exam results are now available on tnresult.nic.in. Here is how to check TN 12th results.
A total of 7,99,717 candidates had appeared for the 12th or ‘Plus Two’ exams in March and of them, 92.3% have passed. Girls have performed significantly better than boys with a pass percentage of 94.8%, over four percentage points higher than the boys’ 89.41%.

This year, Tamil Nadu 12th students recorded the highest pass percentage, 92.34%, since 2016 when it s 91.4%. In 2017, it rose to 92.10%, then dropping to 91.10% in 2018. Last year, it was 91.30%.
This year, 7, 79,931 students have appeared for the Tamil Nadu 12th exams out of which 7,20,209 have cleared the exams.
Tiruppur district has recorded the highest pass percentage with 97.12%. Erode and Coimbatore districts are the second and third best performers with 96,99% and 96.39% respectively.
This year, Girls have recorded a pass percentage of 94,80% which is higher than what boys' pass percentage which is at 89.41%.
Tamil Nadu state board records a pass percentage of 92.30% this year. This is slightly higher than what the Tamil Nadu +2 results in 2019 where the pass percentage was at 91.30%
