The latest incident happened during the Class 12 History exam held on March 30, 2026. Students claimed that when they scanned the QR code on the question paper, it showed search results related to Orry, a well known internet personality. Many students recorded videos of this and shared them on social media, where they quickly went viral.

Orry also reacted to the situation. He posted a video online in which he scanned the QR code and saw his own search page appear. He expressed surprise and saying it felt like a dream to be featured on a CBSE exam paper. His post added to the online excitement.
This is not the first time something like this has happened. Earlier, during the Class 12 Maths exam on March 9, students who scanned the QR code were redirected to the song "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. This prank, known as "rickrolling," is popular on the internet and made many students laugh.

CBSE later clarified that the exam papers were genuine. The board explained that QR codes are used only as a security feature to check the authenticity of the paper. They are not designed to play videos or show unrelated content.
Despite this explanation, both incidents have become widely popular online. The mix of serious board exams and unexpected internet humour has caught people's attention.
For many students, these moments brought a bit of fun during a stressful time. Meanwhile, the incidents highlight how technology, even when used for security, can sometimes lead to surprising and viral outcomes.
