JEE Main 2026: Session 1 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today announced an update on JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1, informing candidates about the release of the provisional answer key and response sheet.
According to the official update shared by the NTA on X (formerly Twitter), candidates will be able to challenge the provisional answer key between February 4 and February 5, 2026. The answer challenge window will allow aspirants to submit objections, if any, within the specified timeline through the official JEE Main website.

The agency further stated that the final result of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be declared by February 12, 2026, after reviewing all challenges received against the provisional answer key.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration to Begin on Feb 1, Says NTA
The NTA slso announced the commencement of the registration process for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2. According to the notification, the application window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will open on February 1 and close on February 25, 2026. Eligible candidates must complete the registration process, fill out the application form, and make the fee payment within the given timeframe.
Candidates can submit their applications through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. They are advised to regularly check the portal for updates and instructions related to the examination process.
JEE Main Session 1 Exams Held From January 21–29
The Session 1 examinations were conducted from January 21 to 25, and on January 28 and 29. To ensure a hassle-free verification process, candidates underwent face authentication and Aadhaar-based biometric verification amid enhanced security measures.
