Rahul Gandhi Hits Out at PM Narendra Modi at Delhi Rally: Highlights

With just three days to go for Delhi elections, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is addressing a rally in Delhi's Jahangirpuri area.

Following are the highlights of his speech:

• UPA suffered political loss due to land acquisition bill
• Thousands of acres taken away for building a formula one track
• We passed the land acquisition bill -- there was no task that was more difficulty in the UPA II tenure but we did it
• If there is a Congress government, within 2 years everyone would have their own houses to live in
• Witin a week, we will make all contract labour in offices like DTC permanent
• We changed Delhi. There's little work left to be done and we will complete it
• In 6 months we will reduce power rates to Rs 1.50 (per unit) and make water cheaper
• Modiji's Make in India has not given employment to anyone
• You voted for Mr Modi in Delhi in the Lok Sabha elections. Did your lives change?
• Mr Modi had said that the inflation will come down.
• When it was the UPA government in Delhi, the international prices of fuel/barrel was very high at $140. It has now come down to $40 per barrel. Has the prices dropped so much for you?
• The country has realised that big promises were made to them, but not fulfilled.
• You are not going to get anything from Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal.
• They want different communities (Hindus and Muslims) to fight.
• Congress party stands for communal harmony.
