A portion of a road on Vikas Marg, which connects east Delhi with the heart of the National Capital, caved in on Friday morning, police said.
A stretch of the road between Nirman Vihar and Shastri Vihar caved in at around 7 am, disrupting traffic.
An underground water pipeline in the area had burst leading to the damage.
