Chapra:
A progeria-afflicted man, having similar facial features with Paa's lead character 'Auro' essayed by super star Amitabh Bachchan, has died at a government hospital here.
Mohammad Ekramul (22), one of the two progeria-affected brothers recently in limelight, died at the Sadar hospital in Bihar's Saran district on Thursday.
Ekramul's family said he had been suffering from cold and fever for the last few days and admitted to the hospital one day back before he died.
Ekramul is the second son of Razia Khatoon of Dumari village under the Majhi police station area. While Khatoon had five progeria-afflicted children, three of them had died a few years ago for lack of medical treatment.
With Paa hitting the screens all over the nation earlier this month, there was a buzz in the media about very few people suffering from the rare disease and media persons descended on the non-descript house of Khatoon to interview the siblings.
Paa's Auro is a sweet 13-year old intelligent kid who suffers from Progeria developing the symptoms of an old person and dies at prematurely.
