Delhiites are likely to experience a slightly cooler day on Saturday with the possibility of light showers towards the evening, a weather official said.
"The national Capital can expect a partly cloudy sky with possibility of thunderstorm in some areas in the city. Rainfall of around 1.4 mm is expected," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature was five notches above average at 26.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 39.1 degrees, three notches above normal.
Light rains on Friday evening had brought much respite to Delhiites from intense heat. The city had on Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 41.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.
