Diamond heist: Thieves brought to Mumbai
Mumbai: The four foreigners who were arrested in Dubai for stealing diamonds worth Rs 6.6 crore at the Indian International Jewellery show have been brought to Mumbai.

They will be produced in court today.

The four foreigners including a woman had visited the stall of Israeli Jewellery company Dalumi at the exhibition.

As the men kept the staff engaged in a conversation about the products, the woman picked up a box of diamonds and the group left undetected.

They left the country on a Mumbai-Dubai-Hamburg flight almost immediately afterwards.

Mumbai police cracked the case after going through hours of CCTV footage and identifying the culprits.

The thieves had swallowed the diamonds to avoid detection at Mumbai airport.
