Mysore:
An 11-year-old boy has been rescued from Mysore where he was kept chained up by his uncle for a day.
A local NGO discovered about the child's plight on Thursday. The child's mother had reportedly asked her brother to help discipline her son.
The child has now been placed in Balmandir, a government-run child welfare home.
The uncle has been arrested.
