He was just four days old and he was so weak that the doctors who delivered his twin brother and him asked that he be kept in an incubator.
On Monday morning, the baby boy was found dead. He has been burnt allegedly because the nurse forgot to regulate the incubator on Sunday night.
Now, Pravin Kale, the father of the baby who died at Nagpur's Government Medical College and Hospital, claims that the nurse assigned to look after his son did not bother checking on the baby at all on Sunday night.
The Maharashtra Health Minister, Vijaykumar Gavit, has ordered an investigation. "Those found guilty will be punished. We accept this is a serious matter," he says.
