Patiala: An activist of banned terrorist-outfit Babbar Khalsa International, facing trial in 2007 Shingar Cinema blast case, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in high security Nabha jail in Patiala.
Jail officials claim 35-year-old Sandeep Singh alias Harry died due to heart attack.
The post mortem of his body was conducted at Nabha Civil hospital in the presence of Judicial Magistrate Baljinder Kaur, sources said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of Nabha, Rajwinder Singh, said that police will act after the complete report of the post mortem.
Sandeep was arrested in December 2007 along with three others in connection with the blast.
On October 14, 2007, five persons were killed and more than 30 were injured when a powerful explosion took place at the cinema hall in Ludhiana.
