PM's Speech Reviewed by a Student in his Audience

(Akshita Upadhyay was among the 700 students at a Delhi auditorium where the PM gave his Teacher's Day address. She is a student in Class XII of the Army Public School.)

I thought the entire experience of the Prime Minister himself coming and interacting with 17 and 16 year olds was really neat.  The way that he spoke and the way he answered all our questions was amazing in itself.  He's an excellent orator as everybody knows and all his encouragement and advice on  how to save electricity and how to go out and play .... all his encouragement... has really made an impact on our lives so I believe it's really good that he took this initiative.

What I enjoyed listening to most was  his lesson that when he was small, he was never nominated even for class monitor.  Now he is PM, and so while  I was standing there, it made me believe that I can  truly achieve something ... maybe one day myself I can achieve something like he has. He said "Enjoy what you are.  Even if you are not able to achieve all your goals, whatever you become in your life ,live with zeal, and have the best of it ...and  enjoy your life." (Read: Work Hard, Play Hard, Sweat a Lot, PM Modi to Students)

Maybe he can do another interactive session on Children's Day with primary school children. If he does it with various areas and various cities,  you will definitely grow a liking for him and you'll definitely remember him.

By doing this, he's definitely establishing a youth connect and he's increased his overall liking and we saw his charm and charisma. So I believe that was a very smart move.
