Six-year-old drowns in sump of house under construction

Bangalore: A six year-old boy drowned in a water sump in an under construction house when he accidentally fell into it today, police said.

Yuvaraj, son of a garment worker Kariappa, was playing when the mishap occurred at Madanayakanahalli in Bangalore Rural District, they said.

Kariappa's residence was a stone's throw away from the under construction house where Yuvaraj had gone to play.
